They are likely to start back for everyone by the end of the year. The timeframe they give you is just a gudie and nothing more. When they do start back there will be backlogs for sure. For this reason you may not receive forms anytime soon.I note that you're in the Support Group so this is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

There are still backlogs/delays but they will get around to reviewing it eventually. Poppy has a better idea and has given a good time-frame just above this post
Good luck, let us know how it goes!They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

Hi Nickh
How were you told that you will be reassessed? By phone, SMS or letter? It's good that they notify you before. I am afraid that letters go missing in the post and I may not get my letter. -

I am afraid that letters go missing in the post and I may not get my letter. When claiming ESA you're not warned before hand. You are just sent the ESA50 form in the post and the first you'll know about it, is when it lands through your letter box in that lovely (not) white envelope.Nick most likely rang the ESA call centre and they told them the date they have for a referral. This is purely just a guide and nothing more. It doesn't mean a referral will be made at that time. My advice is not to ring to ask because it's pointless.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. In the past also did ask DWP when I am due a review, I was given 2 August and also 26 October.
The system is so mean and keeps people on their toes and anxious not knowing when the dreaded form will suddenly arrive. At least they could send a simple SMS as soon as the form is posted so that you get ready, instead the form arrives 10 days after the date on the letter and you only have a couple of weeks to complete it. The system is deliberately cruel to make you fail at some stage. -
I called DWP today about a different issue, and out of curiosity I asked about my next ESA review (WCA) date, they said August 2024, few months ago they said end of this month - October 2023.

So it's just a waiting game

I agree with not asking for the date, if its short it will be just distress caused by it.My last assessment was only a 10 month prognosis, the shortest I ever had, but was over 4 years ago and still not had another one. So it doesnt mean it will definitely happen on that date.

That does seem a rather long time, unless a decision was made and you never received the letter. Have you contacted the Health Assessment Advisory Service to ask if they still have your form? Please contact us on 0800 288 8777. https://chdauk.co.uk/about-us/contact-us/

Just keep going from week to week hoping to hear back from someone.
I was waiting 20 odd weeks for the pip review sept21 to feb22 with no assessment.
So I was wondering if it was normal nowadays.
