I have been married for 9 years from the day dot his sister did not like me, he has git 3 children who where manipulated the same, although I helped them all financially, one came to live with me, took him to work done his tea, while his father worked abroad, I had my mother in law for a week unwell, her own daughter did not want her she simply said "no can't cope with her and we clash" she was very poorly, but they sent her bk to her own place a week later, took her to G.P. my husband sided with me at first, then because I sent a txt saying " your brother is ignoring you cos the way u have treated me has obviously Bach fired on me.
His daughter gets married on 1st Oct bot invited I have thought of her on her special day, got her earings and champagne even paid £1,000 towards her dress, for my husbands sake.
I just feel an idiot, why is it right to betrayed like this by your husband and should I leave him

Hi @Lorna1973, welcome to our community. I'm so sorry to read this story. It can be so devastating when it's the people closest to us that hurt us. You aren't an idiot for trusting people though, it's them at fault not you.

Do you have any support around you at all? This can be a pretty hard situation to go through, so I just want to make sure you have support.

I don't have any support,  feel I'm just stuck, we have a home together I've tried to make him see and how it effects me  but it's about him, and I'm just here fir convenience when things go wrong he has not stood up to them in years most days my life is just awful, had to give up my job recently as j had spinal surgery and they ruptured my spinal cord, my husband works away went through that on my own, and I feel so alone
