How long roughly does it take for pip to receive your mr and upload it onto their system? I sent mine off nearly 4 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything from them, have tried to phone pip but been unable to get through

Hey @busyMum16, I'm glad to hear you managed to get the forms in for the MR.
The usual advice would be if you've not seen the MR logged on the system after two weeks, to give them a call then. So your best bet is to just keep trying to get through on the phone.1 -
Thank you for the advice I’ll try again and phone them first thing in the morning1

hi just wondering if anyone can shed some light on a query I’ve got please?I received a letter last week saying ‘we have received your MR if your sending further evidence do this within one month of the date on the letter (not exact wording) so my question is
does this mean it won’t be looked at by DM until the month has passed? Of can a decision be made at anytime?Secondly I’ve read people had received texts saying they (dwp) hope to look at your MR by (date given
only text I’ve had is to say they received it and as a guide should hear from us in 8 weeks
I’m also aware I could be waiting a lot longer if backlogs busy etc
Sorry for long question but I’ve never applied for pip before so all new to me, thanks to anyone who can help0 -
Once the MR request has been made a decision can be made at anytime. They do not have to wait for any additional evidence to be sent. This is one reason why I don’t usually advise people to request it over the phone. They don’t always send a text to acknowledge when the MR will be looked at by.0
