Hey all, I would like to pick your brains please.
Can you think of books with main characters that are disabled (any reader age range) - I will be googling as well but I am looking to put a list together for a project I am working on.

Hello @Jean Eveleigh
Well one book that I have recommend in The Book Nook before is Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. It's one of the biggest sellers this year. Went viral because of TikTok.
Rebecca Yarros lives with Ehlers-Danlos and her main character in the book Violet has a condition that closely mirrors it. Although Rebecca never give Violet a diagnosis but a lot of her symptoms are relatable to other chronic illnesses. So it was very popular with the disability community on BookTwitter.
There is also a favourite of mine. The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time by Mark Haddon. It's narrated by Christopher who has Autism.
Have you got a Goodreads account? There is a great list on there to start your search1
