Hello, I’d like some help if possible. I have been awarded lcrwa on 30th August. I had submitted a fit note that on the 24th June and it was “accepted” on the 27th June. When I spoke to my work coach recently he advised I will see a payment in Octobers money. I’ve looked on my payments today and it is not showing. I get paid on the 14th of every month.
Does anyone know when this payment will be going in roughly? Do I contact them to ask? Thank you

There’s a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. It’s not paid at all during this period.
Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be July to Oct… LCWRA starts from assessment period 8th Oct to 7th November and first payment will be 14th November. No LCWRA element is owed.0 -
Hi @awatully - & welcome to the community. From what you've said, & presuming you continued to send fit notes until you got your decision (& so long as you don't live with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element), then payment is due for your assessment period 8 Oct -7 Nov. However this is paid in arrears, so you should be paid the extra LCWRA element on the 14 Nov.

Thank you. I was confused as this is all new to me and I was advised this should of been done last year but my work coach left and I had no further contact for a year and since then has been very hit and miss so I do appreciate your comment and advice. Thank you again ☺️0
