Disabled people can already apply for an extra bedroom if they are claiming either daily living PIP, DLA mid/high rate care, ADP daily living and they need regular overnight care.They can also apply if they can't share a room with their partner because of their health condition. They must also be claiming one of the above benefits.If they have children that also can't share a bedroom with another child because of their disability. The child must also be claiming one of the benefits listed above.It also doesn't apply to those of state pension age and above.Being disabled doesn't automatically entitle anyone to an extra bedroom. Though this doesn't mean i agree with the bedroom tax.0
