Hi everyone hope everyone is doing good
anyway I’ve been offered a flat it’s housing association not private yippee they want 2 weeks rent up front which is or can be a struggle as I’m on the sick pip and lcwra so my question is for anyone who can give me advice is can I get help with the 2 weeks rent and can I get help with all the essentials I will need ie white goods sofa flooring bed and bedding etc
so any information would be appreciated thanks

For help with rent in advance you can apply for a discretionary housing payment from your local Authority. Hi @kj1892, congrats on getting the flat!
Poppy has already given some great advice for funding.
The local authority is definitely the best place to try first, but you might also want to check if there are any local community groups nearby. Sometimes you can get free or low-cost bits of furniture and household items that might be enough to get you started.
