Won pip tribunal

Hey guys just a quick one I won my pip tribunal a week today I had the call Thursday just gone asking if I’d been to jail left the country and bank details etc they said I should hear something this week I called again this morning for an update and the women I spoke with said there working through it could take up to 3 weeks is this normal they don’t rush there self to pay you what they owe you I’ve been today I’d hear something this week now it could be 3 weeks

Great news. Yes, it's perfectly normal after a Tribunal win for it to take anything up to 8 weeks to pay what is owed and to put your award into payment.

Thanks poppy for your reply they like to confuse you don’t they one person from dwp told me after the call asking the following questions about being in jail etc you get your money within 3-5 days now I called today the women said anything up to 3 weeks so confusing0

They are not from DWP, it's a call centre you're ringing. It will only take 3-5 working days once payment is made.

So would they know if the payment has been released ? As she did say they’re working through it I’ve never been through this as I’ve never claimed a benefit so it’s all new to me?0

Yes, they will be able to see that payment was made and they will be able to tell you when to expect it in your bank.
