Good evening. Hope you're all staying safe and warm.
I.m looking to do a PIP application. Did one years ago. It was rejected. Went to a tribunal. Still rejected. I suspect it was because I was working. I.m not now. Completely unable to.
I've looked carefully at all descriptors and believe I meet each category other than a few. Just worried about being rejected against. So much time goes into a pip application.
Should I proceed.
Best wishes
Sindy61!

I would advise you to have a good read through this before reapplying as this will help you to have more understanding of the descriptors and what they mean. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteriaReapplying using the same evidence you previously used could see another refusal, especially as you took it all the way to Tribunal last time, they would have applied the law correctly. Many people claim PIP and work as it's not about your ability to work. Though it can go against you if the work you did contradicted the reasons why you were claiming PIP.After you've read through that guide and you decide to reapply then i'd advise you to give a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. Ideally, you should aim for at least half an A4 side of paper per descriptor that applies to you.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
