Pip review forms not being received by pip. Plus I am being given mixed messages by pip

I have received a letter saying we can no longer award you pip and it will end on 20/10/2023 as not filled in forms and need to give mobility car back but got a letter saying they had extended till the 12/10/2024
I’m really worried as the lady I spoke to on the phone said that as long as I send the forms back this wouldn’t happen as my award is till Oct 2024.
I have ms and I’m worried sick about this

Hi @Emilyann30, welcome to the community. So sorry to read that your pip claim has been worrying you, that does sound like a very confusing situation.

If you feel up to it, it's probably worth giving them another ring as soon as you can to see if they can clear things up for you. Sometimes lines get crossed or letters get sent out before things have been confirmed, so it could perhaps just be human error. Definitely worth pursuing as soon as you can, and hopefully more of our members will be along shortly to share their experiences too.

Fingers crossed everything works out okay!

Hi @Emilyann30 - & welcome to the community. It can take some time for PIP forms to be loaded onto the system, so perhaps worth ringing to check if the DWP have got your review form by now. Try ringing the PIP enquiry line on 0800 121 4433, if you can, I'd ring at 9am as it may be easier to get through then.
Did you keep a copy of your review form? If so, you could offer to resend this. Please ask for the correct address, & get a free 'Certificate of Posting' from your Post Office to prove when it's posted.
Mail very, very rarely gets lost, so hope you hear that they have your form after all. :)

Any decision can be challenged. The process starts with the Mandatory Reconsideration. However, as advised by chiarieds please ring PIP on Monday when they open at 9am and tell them you did return the form. Sometimes the letter can saying PIP has stopped can cross post with them receiving the form you returned.

When you returned the form did you get a free certificate of posting from your local post office? This will be all the proof that you need to prove it was posted back to them and they should restart your PIP.

That will be because they ended your PIP because of the forms not being received. Please ring PIP in Monday and tell them you posted the forms.

Once your PiP award is back in payment you can contact motability and tell them.

That was because they are saying that you haven't returned the completed form so your PIP has ended because of this. All you can do is ring the PIP helpline tomorrow morning when they open at 9. PIP enquiry line on 0800 121 4433
