I work with vulnerable adults and in as much I am grateful for the Government remembering these set of adults in our society, however, the Universal Credit cum la Work Capability Assessment for recipients under care 24/7 is wrong.

Also can I mention the tariff income of some claimants are well above the threshold (minimum £6,250), deduction is on their benefit, yet the DWP pays cost of living and additional WCA monthly.

The department its self (DWP) need a feedback of process from the front desk officer of what is going on and what can be improve. If your front desk officers are not providing these feedback, how does the department know that UC/WCA is effective, cost efficient and utilise for the purpose it was meant for, at time of conception.

The real worker suffer without government coming to their aid, whilst those who don't need the money are amassing additional funds.

Thank you

Hi @Demolalash, welcome to the community. I hope you're doing well today. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the government, DWP and WCA for people under 24/7 care.

Scope is a disability equality charity that is separate from the government. While we welcome any discussion you might have about aspects of governmental services, if you have any specific feedback about these services you might like to try sending an email to your MP :)
