Dla application not received

Hi I sent a dla application for my daughter over 5 weeks ago and have no had a text or letter to say it’s been received.
I’ve tried to call and speak to somebody about this but the call always cuts off. I am concerned the application with all the evidence and important documentation has gone missing. Is there anyway I can check it has been received or a direct number I can call as all the options on the general number leads to somebody who “cannot help” or cuts me off

They don’t always send a text to confirm it’s been received. The only way to know is by ringing the DLA helpline. Best to ring is usually as soon as they open at 9am. This is the only phone number for DLA.

Hi @vicki83, welcome to the community. Sorry you're having trouble with your daughter's DLA. Did you manage to get any proof of posting when you sent the forms off?
It must be frustrating, but perhaps it's worth trying again with the phone calls to see if you can get through to someone who can help.
I hope you're able to get some answers soon, keep us updatedRosie (she/her)
