I receieved a text today telling me I have been awarded PIP. This is good news, but yesterday I had phoned them to ask what to do if things have changed since my assessment or I noticed things that was left out of the report. They told me to write to them and gave me the address, so I did and posted it yesterday.
In my letter I update them on new information/changes since my assessment which included new medication and therapy along with any information that was accidentally missed out of the report or may have been misunderstood. I was careful not to make any accussations against the assessor, even though she clearly missed some of the things I said and commented in the report that I kept apologising and did not need to. I kept apologising but she kept reminding me how long it was taking, and that I was lucky she did not have another appointment otherwise she would have to end the assessment. I listed everything I needed to update or advise them of in order of the sections and activities they applied to in the report.
My question is will they still take this into consideration or is it too late now they have awarded me? The lady on the phone said as long as my claim is in process I can send them more information.
I apologise ahead if I have asked what would seem obvious to those more experienced in this area as this is my first time claiming PIP.

If those changes include any worsening of condition then they will not take those into consideration after the assessment took place.Whether they would take into consideration any information you didn’t tell them will depend what it is.Al the rest then you need to wait until you know exactly what you’ve been awarded. If you’re not happy then you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration. Before doing this you need to look at the descriptors to see if it’s possible to score more points needed for a higher award, if you don’t already have maximum award of course.1

Thank you, for responding. To be honest I am happy and relieved they have awarded me anything, so I will just leave it as it is, I no longer have the energy to go on with it as it was exhausting.0
