Parent with hearing loss

Hi all I have moderate hearing loss and when I take my hearing aids out at night I can't hear if my 3 year old daughter is crying I felt awful one night as she'd been screaming and fell asleep near her gate my neighbour heard her this was about 3am I had a monitor that vibrated but because I had to have it plugged in all night and near me it eventually died on me and won't stay on unless it's plugged in. I am now in her bedroom with her because I don't really want her to get used to my room, it's not ideal but at least I know when she wakes up. Has anyone any ideas what I could possibly use so I can get back into my own room. Thanks

Hi @sandra2812, sorry to hear you're having issues with the baby monitors. Have you looked into rechargeable ones? I had a quick look and can see there's a few rechargeable and vibrating ones, but the price ranges vary greatly.0
