Hi, I’m autistic, I’m hoping to meet people like me and hopefully make some new friends too as I’m struggling with loneliness. I had to recently quit a job because of my disability making it difficult to function in the workplace despite reasonable adjustments that were put in place. So I’m currently exploring the route of self-employment and setting up my own business with the help of family.

I chose this username because I love cute and fluffy things. Pomeranians are my favourite breed of dog for example and we used to own a couple in the past. The cat you see in my profile picture is my character called Pascal who I drew myself. I live with my family and mostly enjoy video games in my spare time and sometimes drawing my cartoon characters. I also want to explore composing music someday.

    I'm sorry to hear your job didn't work out for you, fitting in with odd routines can be very tough for us autistic folk, but I'm very excited to hear about your self employment, that's excellent news! Will Pascal be your mascot? :)

    I'm an ex music student and a big gamer, so you're in the right place if you want to join in with chatting over in the Coffee Lounge. :)  What's your current favorite game?

    Pascal won't be my mascot for the business specifically but he's still around. I would like to make a webcomic series featuring him and his friends though, that's been one of my dreams for a while.

    And my current favourite game to play is Final Fantasy 14. I enjoy the social aspect of it a lot and there's a lot to do, but I do also enjoy playing a lot of other games on Nintendo Switch, Playstation or PC. I own far too many games to count and I've yet to play most of them haha.

    Ah good old FF online, I used to play it, but have many friends that still do.  I'm mainly a PC gamer and also own many games I've yet to touch haha.  I' also terrible at completing games.  :D 

    We have several gamers who are regulars in the community, so maybe we need a gaming thread made today?
