my belated Remembrance Sunday poem
my belated Remembrance Sunday poem
Yesterday was Remembrance Sunday
Our nation fell silent to remember our women and men in arms in service who had sadly lost their lives in different wars.
Tears of Sadness fall from our nation's eyes and the eyes of family members who are remembering their loved ones, who sacrificed their lives for the United Kingdom
Our war cemeteries where red reefs are laid against in front of statues at our war arboretums
The gun salute and bungles are played to signal the start and end of the one-minute silence as we bow our heads. Our war heroes will live in our hearts and in our memories forever.
