Need a room

I have been searching for a room to let without success. Whenever they realise i have a special need child they will reject my offer.
Please i need help to find one i can move in by January. I need it around Longsight up to Stockport or towards Picadilly. My budget is maximum £400.
Am not entitled to any benefits and cannot apply for council house until 2025.

    Advertising isn't allowed here as part of the forum rules, so this isn't the best place to look. I think you're going to struggle with your maximum budget being so low, even if you could find one that will allow a child.

    Is the reason you're not entitled to benefits because you've recently moved to the UK form another country?

    I'm so sorry to hear about the difficulties you've had finding a room for let, @Gerry247. 

    It's going to be a struggle to find anything appropriate with your current budget, but have you considered speaking directly to the landlords? If you're given the opportunity to explain the specifics of your situation, you might find some of them are more amenable. 

    Also, have you spoken to your local authority with regards to whether there are any temporary housing options?
