Last year I linked the Christmas Countdown UK website as they have made these huge lists of Christmas Movies. With so many streaming services, it's a big help!
It has also made me wonder...
A few months ago, I hosted a watch along for the King's Coronation and I didn't know whether members would like to do any festive watch along's?
The Christmas TV catalogue will be out soon so I can make a list of some films that are on in the afternoons or over the weekends? And I'd love if you can comment with some film ideas too!
Let me know with your answer on the poll!
For now...here are the streaming lists for 2023:
Disney Plus

Netflix

Amazon Prime

There are also two great Freeview channels; Christmas 24 and GREAT! Christmas Movies. As well as festive movies on most afternoons over on Channel 5.

I will look through the Radio Times and TV Guide and pick some that are on the main Freeview channels
I was thinking of classic Christmas films that are usually on this time of year. Like Home Alone for example so those who may not be able to join for the watch along can still join in the discussion of the film?1 -
I'd love to be part of a Christmas watch along!Well you know I'll be excited to join in with this.

Hello everyone,
I was just wondering, for those who would like to do a Christmas watch along, does everyone have access to streaming services such as BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and Channel5?
Also, thinking of a time we could all do the watch along as well, would you like to do something like a 12 O'clock one? can eat lunch and watch a film together? or would you prefer it to be earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon?0 -
I'd love to be part of a Christmas watch along! There is always a trial on amazon prime. 1st month free then just cancel if it's not for you.
Also how does the watch along work? 🤔 do we comment on here while watching the movie? Sorry if that's stupid question lol0 -
Yeah! We all start the movie, and we comment along as we watch it

There are a few classics on the free channels streaming services. Nativity is on BBC iPlayer and It's A Wonderful Life is on the Channel 4 streaming service
