Question
my fit note started in August, my first LCWRA form was “misplaced” a second was completed & accessed.
On the 21/11/23 I was deemed unfit to work.
one waits 3 months for disability 🔝, however this goes back to August due to the first misplaced LCWRA Assessment form.
will there be any kind of backdated anything as it will have gone way past 3 months in all. It’s all quite confusing.
can anyone help?
Thankyou

Hi, if you would be awarded LCWRA it would count from the first day of your fit note, so your form does not matter with that. Obviously plus 3 months:-) I just mean it does not matter when you filled the form in.0

When the extra money is paid from exactly will depend on the answers to the following questions.1/ What date exactly did you report your health condition/provide your first fit note?2/ What date do you usually receive your money each month? The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods from when you reported your health condition/provided your first fit note. It's then paid from the 4th month after this with first payment being the end of that 4th month. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.Based on the limited information you provided then your first payment will be either December or January.0

I'm sorry if you thought it was aimed at you.Tagging means you put an @ before someone's name so if they have notifications turned on they will see that someone mentioned them in a comment.0
