Hello @kj1892
I am so sorry to hear that your daughter is in this situation. I would encourage you to reach out to Citizen's Advice. If possible, I would also encourage you to see if you can make a GP or hospital appointment for her where you could attend. Just to get her caught up on her missed appointments,0 -
Thank you for your reply as I say it’s just a concern I don’t know if I’m making 2+2=5 and she has caught up on her appointments it just doesn’t seem as important and sometimes I get the impression a bourden but thanks i will look into it a bit more1

Hi @kj1892 - if your daughter gets a mobility car due to her disability, then this should only be used for her benefit, not her Mum's or partners. You're not wrong in querying this.PIP is paid every 4 weeks, so I'm puzzled by you saying every 2 weeks if you're referring to your daughter.1

I see this every day when you see new'ish cars bearing a blue badge being clearly used by someone (the only person in the car) who is not disabled in any way. You only need to check the number on the badge to see if the 'owner' is male or female.
I have a Motability car and have three nominated drivers for insurance purposes. Myself, my wife (just in case she has to drive it (if I am ill and does so for my benefit) and my daughter who can drive it if I am in the car with her.
Does your daughter hold a full current driving licence? Who is allowed to use the car for insurance purposes? If the additional drivers are abusing the vehicle then you can just tell Motability insurance to remove them from policy. You don't have to give any explanation but just tell them that the vehicle is no longer covered for them to use.
If your daughter needs one of them - mum or stepdad to drive for her then she or you can point out what the car is only to be used for.0 -
I don't want to cause alarm. If somebody else knows that this Motability car is being mis used and reports it to Motability the car could be taken away from your daughter. It happened to a family member of my ex a number of years ago.0

Had a look at the badge they were displaying. It was for a female who was born in 1946 possibly 77years of age!!
