Help! ESA hasn't come through after moving house

Hi. I wonder if anyone can help?
I sent back a form for my ESA (I'm assuming it was an ESA50), two weeks ago. It asked about my condition. I have been on ESA for over 10 years and have had many WCAs, plus taken the DWP to tribunal twice, (and won both times!)
Anyway, I moved house a week ago, and phoned the DWP the day I moved to tell them of my address change.
Anyway, my ESA has not gone into my account today and I am panicking.
Has anyone experienced similar, and if so, was it because your award had been stopped (but you hadn't been notified!), or was it an admin error due to change of address etc?
I've moved counties, but was told by the DWP that this would not change anything, and that I would stay on legacy benefits. (I wondered if I would be put onto UC?)
Thanks

Firstly, you can't automatically be placed onto UC, you would need to claim this yourself, so that's not the reason you didn't receive payment. You can't be found fit for work without an assessment, unless it's for either failing to return the form on time or failing to attend an assessment. Even then DWP would contact you first to ask for reason why you didn't return the form or attend the assessment. It was just before 1am that you posted here so hopefully you've received your money now because sometimes banks don't always clear funds just after midnight, some are in the early hours. If you haven't received your payment now then you'll need to ring ESA to ask them because they are the only ones that can tell you what's happened.0

Hi @Tubz, how are you getting on today? Did your money come through?
As Poppy mentioned, it might be worth giving ESA a ring to check things out if you're still worried. Hopefully they can clear things up for you0
