Just to remind you?

Its almost Christmas time.

Christmas is now almost here, there’s one more day to go

Are there signs of slowing down, you know, I don’t think so.

Bought the Turkey and the Ham, the bread, and the cranberry jam

Bought the beef and boiling Bacon, bought the trays, to make them on

Sprouts and spuds, carrots as well, forgot the onions no time to dwell.

The hours are flying, where have they gone, soon, it will be Monday morn,

The kids will be up at stupid o’clock, not realizing,

that poor mum and granny have just finished rapping the lot.

It's time to say that, that's enough and let the day, unfold

I’m sure I’m not the only family, that goes through this every year

I don’t think that I would change a thing, the buzz in the house is electrifying.

The kids are giggling, they can’t wait, because they want to see if Santa’s late,

OH, please remember Santa, I’m not the naughty one, it was my sister, she blames everyone.

So without another line, I have to say MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERY ONE.

I’m off to start to cook the meat and the poultry with the veg

But just remember whose Birthday it is, and say a prayer, before the festive cheer.

And when you celebrate that little prayer remember your loved ones who can’t be there.

Once that has been done, break out the party hats, and celebrate, God Bless EVERYONE and a Happy New Year.
