Esa checking accounts

Just been informed today that all cliamants will have their bank accounts checked regularly it's a bit much yet I've not any fraudulent goings on, I find it violating and controlling,  is it true?

Hi! The DWP and the Council have already been doing it for years. I used to send the DWP bank statements once in a while and I have nothing to hide anyway.
