Hi @timulroy89_ welcome to the community. Sorry to hear you're feeling this way, it can't be easy.
Do you have any support available for your mental health? Or perhaps a trusted friend or family member you could chat to about the way you're feeling?Rosie (she/her)

I feel pointless because I can't do anything right, I feel I've been under the radar all my life.
my 2 children have being diagnosed ASD none verbal. my mentality has taken a real blow now. I don't know any one else like this.
in 2013 I was diagnosed with dyspraxia but I feel it is a whole lot more than that I find reading/writing/spelling ridiculously difficult.
I live In my head and although I work my brain feels like it's going 100 miles an hour.
lost 2 mates too suicide in recent years
I'm on a ASD waiting list my self I feel communication is really difficult to anyone even my wife /family I have anxiety and social anxiety through the roof. -
I'm a big loser too!
Have you read much about ADHD and it's crossover with dyspraxia and dyslexia and asd?
I lose basically everything I lay my hands on. It's frustrating but the only thing I can say is my turning point was my diagnosis as it helped me be kind to myself. I realised it wasn't my fault I was a loser and didn't ever seem to get anything right. And when I stopped blaming myself and then began to be kinder to myself I was able to instead look at ways to help.
I also found out that a lot of my anxiety and social anxiety came from the 1 million miles a minute brain I have from ADHD. It means I'm always thinking through every possible outcome of every situation, all the time. Whether I want to or realise it or not. And that's scary and difficult to control. And when your brain leans towards the negative it brings fear with it as you're thinking of all the bad possible outcomes of interactions and so on.

Big loser here, you won't believe the places I've put things. I don't believe it when I eventually find them. My biggest past issue was always my passport. I'd always misplace my passport when I really needed it. ADHD can certainly be frustrating!
There are methods to help with it, at least they helped me! Not everyone is the same, so I recognise it may not work for you. The method I used is to try and strongly designate that each items gets "a space". So keys always go in the same spot (a pot in the hallway for me) for example. It took me weeks to finally make it routine, I'm awful with routines. But I rarely lose my keys now, at least when I'm at home.
When I'm out and about in my jacket with like 8 pockets it takes some time to find them still.... Need to check every pocket and it's always the last pocket for some reason?They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

I'm late diagnosed autistic and waiting for my ADHD assessment. I can empathise with all of what you've said. I stumble over words and forget words I'd used 10 seconds before, it's really frustrating and sometimes I think it'd be better to just write things down and hand notes to people. I've found talking slower really helps me, it allows time for my mouth and brain to sync up a bit more.
As Jimm has mentioned, having specific places for your important items is a huge help. I have everything laid out by the front door, in plain view. And I always keep my passport in my coat pocket, just in case.Albus (he/him)

I actually also carry my passport with my everywhere now.... Sure it's maybe a touch less safe not being locked away at home but at least I can find it when I need it!They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with
