The best time to phone is 9a.m just as they open and before they get busy, is it your phone or there's that gets cut off ? could you ask them when they answer to call you back if you do get cut off ?  @woodham100 welcome to scope

Hey there @woodham100 and welcome to the community!

I understand your frustrations with getting through via phone.  But you can apply online here which may help you?

Online claims are only for certain areas but you can check if you live in one via the link @Albus_Scope gave you.

That's very interesting and definitely a new process they have recently started. It will be very helpful for so many people, if they can apply online. Thanks for posting that link, very very helpful.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    You're most welcome!

If I could've applied online the other year, things would've been so much quicker!  Or at the very least, shaved two weeks off the marathon wait.
