Hi, thanks for letting me join. I’ve applied for pip for the first time. I’m so worried and overwhelmed by the process; got a text saying they have received the written stuff and I’ll hear from them within 8 weeks with a decision..but I’ve not spoken to, or seen anyone for an assessment..which has made my head spin. Any advice, anecdotes, distractions, would be really great. Thank you😊

Heya @minimohawk and welcome to the community! Â
Sorry to hear you're overwhelmed by the process, they certainly don't make things easy. But we're all here to offer advice and support if you need it. Â
Sometimes they'll send a basic receipt message and they'll contact you later with dates. Or they may feel they have enough information to do a 'paper based' decision, so they may feel they don't need to speak to you to make an assessment. So I'd try not to panic too much.1 -
Thank you for replying😊Â1
