Can anyone please give me some advice? I have been on ESA support level since 2011 this is all I receive £259 a fortnight my condition has deteriorated so much and I am now having to take morphine, methcarbonal ,temazepam, pain patches , tranquilin , and quite a few more hope I have spelled everything correctly!!
I have serious pain with spine and vertebrae and chronic pain  , kidney and liver issues. I wonder if anyone knows if I am also entitled to PIP . My husband works full time so my daughter manages most things for me and drives me to hospital and MSK clinic soon she is leaving uni and will start work so I have no transport either. If anyone could give me any advice I would be very grateful.

Hi @ronnie24 - & welcome to the community. Everyone is entitled to put in a claim for PIP, but PIP isn't about any diagnoses, rather how your daily living &/mobility are affected looking at certain activities/descriptors & whether you can do these 'reliably,' i.e. safely, to an acceptable standard, repeat as often as one would reasonably expect, or if it takes you much longer than someone without a disability. Pain should also be taken into account whether during attempting/doing an activity, or as a consequence of doing so. PIP also considers how you are most days (the majority of the time).
Then, please do come back with any questions, & we'll all do our best to help & support you.

I am in pain everyday and I have to pace myself I no longer have any activities I struggle with doing anything that consists of standing any longer than minutes . Daily activities for me are extremely limited I have to rely on others for shopping, cooking, cleaning and help with dressing most days

I'm so sorry...I have chronic daily pain the moment I'm upright, which is certainly not much fun. Here's how to put in a claim for PIP:  https://www.gov.uk/pip/how-to-claim    If you do decide to claim PIP, then do please keep in touch before completing the form.

Welcome to the scope community @ronnie24 :) As chiarieds says PIP is not about diagnosis but about how affected your day to day life is. Given the lists of medication you are having to take I certainly think it is worth you applying.

We have a specific category of our community for asking for help with PIP applications and issues here. We have some people who are very knowledgeable about the process, and the forms can be a lot to fill in! Try not to worry if it takes time, you can always ask the DWP for more time. When I applied they gave me a full month extra to fill the forms in.

Let us know how you get on, if you have any questions about specific PIP things just ask in a new discussion in the category I linked above :)
