Well rumour has it it'll be 30 Degrees this weekend, another scorcher.

I did go out for a short while today.
I had a look around a few shops and I bought some greeting cards.
I was too fatigued to do much else.
I'm looking forward to watching the soaps this evening.

Ha thanks @Mary_Scope Indeed, the bright colors really pop - spicy stuff, just what I needed!

Just a proposal for work. I don't think I've ever been able to work until last minute though lol

Ended up being quite productive today, but ordered a takeaway for dinner so feel like that cancels out the hard work

Good night everyone.
I hope you are ok? @ColonelBlink I have not seen you around for a couple of days.
Take care.

Good morning all!
Miserable day down here today but looking like it will get brighter on the weekend which is good😊
I hope the proposal goes well @Mr_Shoes_Tied! What takeaway did you go for?
I recently come across the term "dopamine dressing" @SmellyBin and that skirt definitely reminded me of it. Do you wear bright colours a lot?
That sounds like you have some lovely birthday plans @Amberpearl, are you looking forward to them?
Hope you enjoy the catch up @Bluebell21!1 -
Good morning.
I'm going to visit a friend later then go and have a look at some new carpets, and get a bit of food shopping.
I hope you both have a lovely day out.
I hope everyone can manage to have a good day.

Great day on my course this morning, we've finally finished (mostly), the Holy Grail animation and will finish the Four Candles sketch animation (starring Pingu) next week.

I hope you have a lovely time with your friend @luvpink.
I'm glad you had such a good time @SheffieldMan1976. I'm so interested to see what you've been working on.

I saw a robin this morning, and also a fledgling being fed by its parents, both right outside my bedroom window. Lovely surprise as I’d never seen that happen in person before.

That's so sweet @FluffyCatMeow! I saw a baby magpie with it's parents doing the same this morning. Do you get to see a lot of birds from your window?
1 -
Oh wow @FluffyCatMeow that sounds wonderful, good for you! Makes me smile, just imagining this.
I am one for comfy clothes - no denim for me @Mary_Scope but yeah, sometimes bright colors to break with the dread so to speak? Dopamine dressing was new to me, but fits that description perfectly. Anything to cheer ourselves on, right?
And how are you today?I hope y'all had lovely outings @Amberpearl @Bluebell21 @SheffieldMan1976 @luvpink

Good evening.
I went to visit my dear friend.
He spent 9 months in hospital and he was discharged in December but he isn't well at all.
Its sad to see.
Thank you.
I did go to look at some new carpets and I got a few sample pieces so can match colours to some new sofa's.
I'm exhausted now so I'm listening to some music this evening.
I hope you all have a restful night.

seeing a baby magpie must have been wonderful!
I am starting to see more now that my mum dug a couple of flowerbeds right by my window. I’m guessing the birds like the plants for hiding spots, and the exposed mud for worms0 -
Good night everyone. I will not be staying up till 3am to watch the football.
