Sorry about your eyes @Amberpearl. I'm struggling with hayfever so have similar symptoms, it's not very nice.
I currently have two fans on me and I'm not feeling too bad so far.

Japan v Ireland
Fiji v England
South Africa v Scotland
Argentina v Wales is on next
Then of course England v Norway football match is on at 10 pm tonight.
Its been a glorious sunny day here at 31 degrees.
I hope you all have a pleasant evening.

My neighbours from the flat above me are both South Africans and I heard them cheering. They sent me a text before the game to apologise I told them don't worry I'll be cheering later if England score. It's nice when you got understanding neighbours.

I might see if I can catch a couple of games and see if I can get into it. Do you prefer rugby or football?
I hope you have a great evening :)
Aw, I love that! The last England game despite the early hours I could hear my neighbours cheering when England scored, it's one of the things I love about football.

Hey @Bluebell21, sorry I missed you this morning, I might have been writing my post and not seen yours I think. It's been really breezy here too despite the temperature. It's really helped it feel less suffocating!
1 -
Hi sometimes the posts cross. I was glad we had a breeze otherwise it would have been too hot.
I hope you enjoy the England game, fingers crossed we do ok.

Got soaked tonight out with Gus, I gave him a standard 6 miles, and he seemed happy enough with that.
Some of you guys on about heat waves? Never mind a heat wave, I found it hard to believe it was still summer! I had on a woolly hat, and ski mitts, and I was feeling pretty chilly by the end of the walk. ๐๏ธ๐จโ๐ฆผ

Still 26 here sorry you do not have it. @ChrisR777 Will be glad when we get some rain so I can stop watering pots.
Now England have won bed time for me.

The heatwaves will happen here mid century, but by that time southern England may experience summer temperatures that resemble current **** Saharan Africa. Goodness knows how present day hot countries will cope.

Hi, I prefer rugby.
I support Ireland. ๐จ๐ฎ
I'm pleased that the England football team won last night.
I stayed up to watch it.
England also did brilliantly in the rugby yesterday.

I Have some Cousins that live in Spain and they regularly get temps of up to 45C.

Thanks and you too. Just a Chill day here. Lethargic from the game last night. Took me ages to unwind enough to sleep lol.

I'm going out soon to see my friends singing in an acoustic duo.
This evening I'm going out with friends to see a man singing swing type music.
I hope you all manage to have a good day.

@trouble5316 that sounds interesting! Maybe you could start your own post and tell us more about it? It's more likely to get lost in this discussion as it's quite active.
That sounds like a wonderful day @luvpink! What kind of songs do they sing?
I'm also feeling tired @Bluebell21. I didn't want to wake up this morning ๐

Did you watch the football @Rachel_Scope I think that is why we are all tired today.
1 -
Yeah I did @Bluebell21 and that's definitely why I'm tired. I like to be in bed by 9pm so it was a late one! Totally worth staying up for though.

And yet still our elected leaders dither and prevaricate, they won't act beyond the next election cycle, always some guff about future technologies solving the problem.
