@Sandy_123
Yes Sandy she’s been wanting to come down she’s been asking all week but has the nursery.So I told them to bring her once I’m back from my mums.
I bought her some treats out Home Bargains to keep her amused lol
I hope your good and keeping warm.
@Ada
Hiya Ada glad you got some sleep last night and I hope your keeping yourself wrapped up.❤️1 -
Oh nice @Lou67
Shopping been and put away hurts my back getting it off them out the crates, morrisons still deliver in bags which is better, but their site was playing up yesterday, so went with sainsburys.
Can relax now nice hot coffee

When my Dad left his job of 36 years and was looking for a nice simple job one he looked at was a supermarket delivery driver. He was offered the job but didn't take it because he didn't like the rules. He said the drivers are strictly not allowed to go into peoples houses etc. and he would have ended up going to an elderly or disabled customer and helping them unload their shopping and getting the sack.1
-
Its a safety thing @66Mustang but I've known drivers do it for friends actually take it in the kitchen. I've joked with drivers saying, I thought you were unpacking and putting it away with the kettle on.2

@Sandy_123 yeah I can imagine and also for legal reasons, if you break something by accident in the house and the sue or something.
Only problem is my Dad is the sort of person that says stuff the rule book if he thinks the rules are wrong so he would see someone struggling and just help them.1 -

Hi everyone
I'm not long up but small steps!
Wanted to say how much it helped yesterday talking to you all.
First time I've used online forums and I feel less alone.

You all are so supportive and its made me think of how I can be more positive instead of wallowing in my situation.
I'm going to read a bit this afternoon. Empties my mind of everything else.
Have a great afternoon everyone!4 -
I know its warmed up but I'm cold, think it's the wind. Found a Devon company for afternoon tea delivery with clotted cream and scones3
-
Looks yummy @ada but there going to London so I won't get any too lol
She first tried clotted cream in Saundersfoot when we were on holiday, she was about 8 and loved it ever since. Can't find any Welsh companies that are decent price.1 -
We just took a drive to Tesco as they have a YO Sushi counter there. I bought some reduced price sushi that was near its use by date. It was nice but the rice was quite dry. I think I will pay full price from now on.0
