Good morning everyone!
@Teigr I'm sorry you got so little sleep
@Beaver79 poor you with your eye
I'm not feeling great today then got phoned to be reminded of a hospital appointment on Wednesday that I got no letter for. They had the wrong address. I'm so glad they phoned.
Have to dig deep and be thankful for that today. I'm so unmotivated again. Sorry to be a Debbie downer2 -
Good morning everyone.
Sorry for going AWOL for a few days, I needed a break from all of the internet to clear my head. Nothing bad happened to cause it, I just needed some "simple" time with little to think about.
I hope everyone is doing OK today.
@Teigr nice to see you put up a profile picture
@ada hope you are doing OK today
@Lou67 I hope your operation went OK? And that you are recovering well.
Sorry that I didn't mention everyone2 -
I'll be okay thanks @Rosie_Scope and @Marydoll5,I'm amusing myself with some ironing.
It's not a very good photo @66Mustang,the last time I tried to put one up it didn't work and I didn't expect this one to either.
I'll have to look for a better one.3 -

@Teigr
Oh I hope you can take it easy a bit today.
@Rosie_Scope
Thanks Rosie I’m taking it easy.
@66Mustang
Nice to see you back, sometimes it’s nice to just take a step back from things and take a break.
The surgery went well I’m a bit sore today but it’ll get better as each day passes.3 -
@Sandy_123
Yeah I’m using crutches, and when I make a cuppa or something I have a trolly that the OT supplied.
My daughters been in this morning again seeing if I need help with anything, she’s going to make an extra dinner later and bring it along for me.@66Mustang
Aww yes the physio came a couple off hours after I was back in my room, he asked me to do a couple off little exercises, he came back the next day and was really pleased with my progress.
I’m getting about the house fine with my crutches.I had to phone the District Nurses for an appointment to get my staples out on the 12th day after op, so they are coming out on the 6th to take them out.I hope your doing good.

@Sandy_123
When I got them after my first surgery I was hopeless using them, it’s only after a lot off practice I’ve mastered it 😂1 -
Our daughter was given crutches after an operation to rebuild her ankle(she was hit by a car)and she was absolutely useless with them.
We had to borrow a wheelchair every time we went shopping.1 -
@Sandy_123 &. @Teigr
Yes they are definitely tricky to get used to I will be happy to get rid off them once I’m RUNNING 🏃♀️ around, now that would take a miracle😂3
