    See I do distances in metres and centimetres for everything except personal height.

    And for some reason, I struggle to use the systems in the opposite way.

    If I try to imagine someone 170cm tall, I struggle to do it. But give me their height in feet and inches and I can imagine it fine.

    Tell me to imagine a table 2 foot by 2 foot and I struggle to do it, but if it's in metric I have no issue.

    @Jimm_Scope have you tried imagining a person laying on the table, or a table stood up against the wall??

    @Teigr
    Oh yeah theyr probably really strong but there’ll be great benefits from them.

    @66Mustang

    Aww it’s just the normal Nike for my grandsons but my son and daughter spend a lot on good trainers some are for running so suppose you need good quality.

    @Lou67 Yeah I agree and I can understand that. I don't go running but I do lots of walking, I've always bought walking shoes for like £30 and they needed replacing every 6 months. Last November as a treat I got some good walking shoes which were just over £100 and they still look like new, plus they are lots more comfortable as well

    Oh well that’ll work out worth it in the long run, as they will probably last years and comfort is key.
    I have a few things wrong with my feet I’ve been attending the podiatrist for years, I’ve bought all the good named trainers and after half an hour I get shooting pains in my feet and I can’t wear them again. I bought a cheap pair off knitted type trainers from Amazon for £22 and I’ve never had them off my feet lol But I do prefer paying more for quality stuff in general but comfort comes first.

    @Lou67 I agree I think comfort comes above everything else with clothes and shoes!! There's no point looking nice but being in agony 😳

    I'm off for a dog walk and other things, I hope everyone has a nice rest of the morning

    Morning all, not my usual cheery message, I’m still suffering with awful head, fever which comes and goes and an awful cough/sore throat. Can barely concentrate on anything and just been dozing, I even missed the football last night 😞although checking the score that was probably for the best, lol

    Thinking of you all ❤️

    Aww that’s rotten it’s horrible I had the same thing for a couple off weeks on and off my nose is still a little blocked. You probably need an antibiotic with it lasting so long. I hope you feel better soon. Lots off love 💕

    Hi everyone, we just had a nice walk and are getting a cup of coffee on the way to the shop 😆 I’m parked next to the same car I have but a different colour… I don’t like doing that but there were no other spaces at the time … I think it’s an enthusiast as they have stickers on the car and stuff

    I’m just off a walk up to Aldi for fruit then round to tesco just for a look around see what I can pick up. I have my granddaughter tomorrow so want to get a couple off treats for her.

    @66Mustang

    Hi @Lou67 it was just McDonald's coffee but I think their coffee is really nice, and it's £2 for a cup unlike some of the big chains that charge £5

    I hope you enjoy your trip or are still enjoying it if you're not back yet

    I think I'm going to go off preemptively for today

    I feel OK but I've seen another new member doing the rounds on the forum who clearly just wants to cause upset and I am well aware I'm not a strong enough person not to rise to the bait and argue with them so I'm going to avoid it

    I know "trolling" is a thing as some people get pleasure from causing upset but I can't imagine what kind of person would target a disability forum with lots of vulnerable people etc… it would be fun to meet them in real life 🙄

    I hope everyone has a lovely rest of the day and my PM is always open if someone wants to chat 😊 👍
