I don't think it's as humid as last night, but there is a breeze. Last night had no breeze. I still do have all the windows open, surprised no cats have jumped through

Mr Teigr got home just after half four, the appointment wasn't anything to do with his current woes though.
It was to do with a bladder infection he had after his radiotherapy,it flares up now and again so the hospital like to keep an eye on it.

I didn't really get pocket money @Ada,but we did have a neighbour who'd give me 50p to go to the corner shop for her.
More often than not she'd only want something that cost 40p or so and she was perfectly capable of walking to the shop herself.

I used to get £1 a week pocket money
My Mum said I was lucky because she got something like 12 pence
I worked out the inflation rate and that she actually got more than me in real terms
Cheeky, maybe
Of course I grew up to do economics at college 😂

I know @Ada 😳
A friend of the family used to work at a children's home and the children there get different allowances, one of them is £90 a month for clothes
I don't spend anywhere near £90 a month on clothes, as an adult! 😮

I used to take empty bottles to the shop for 10p each for them then do baby sitting jobs.

Morning Scopicles! It's so humid there isn't a breath of air! I haven't got any sleep yet. Percy is in funeral fettle too. 2 chick's have fallen out of the nest onto a flat roof and percy and mum are circling like mad and cawing.
We googled what to do and best way seems to be to leave them. Neighbours put a dish of water in the roof and food. They will hopefully start to fly and rejoin the parents. Its amazing to watch.
