How is your day going?

Teigr

Morning all.

It's freezing here,I needed my ice grippers for this morning's walk.

Sandy_123

Morning everyone another cold day

Albus_Alumni

Morning folks!

It's certainly a bit chilly today isn't it @Sandy_123 and @Teigr ?
We've got a builder in and he's insisting on keeping the front door open. My poor feet are freezing! 😆

LongTallSally66

It's certainly chilly 🥶 I've got physio this afternoon, dreading walking on icy paths with pair of crutches ,be skiing around in no time 🏂😀

Albus_Alumni

Oh blimey, you take care out there @LongTallSally66 ! You can buy little add ons to go on crutches so they're better on ice and snow. I think they're only a few pounds for a set. Like crampons for crutches. 😊

Sandy_123

Good luck @LongTallSally66 @Albus_Scope why does he need the door open I would be a block of ice

Albus_Alumni

Our door cant be opened without a key if it shuts and he doesnt want to carry around our keys. Slightly annoying. I'll have to get the fluffy slippers on!

Amberpearl

I'm frozen

House so cold

Was 10 degrees in the house when I got up

Amberpearl

Teigr

We're having a new front door next week @Albus_Scope (or so I'm told),I hope it's a bit milder by then.

Albus_Alumni

Ooh exciting times @Teigr do you think that might stop Mr Teigr from dragging things around in the middle of the night?

Hey @Amberpearl sorry to hear you're so cold. Have you spoken to the Disability Energy Support team yet?

Teigr

I think it might stop him slamming the door hard enough to shake the house every time he leaves @Albus_Scope

Albus_Alumni

Small blessings eh? 😅

Think I did long time ago

This house is old and needs many repairs no insulation either

11 degrees in the house

My gas bill almost 3 thousand pounds

I can't afford to pay

Why don't the energy companies understand that people on benefits don't have spare money

I. Don't want to be declared bankrupt either

Albus_Alumni

I'd really urge you to please get in touch with them asap, they're there to help you @Amberpearl

Sandy_123

Will be 10 degrees Tues and about 7 Monday...well that's what's on forecast at the moment

durhamjaide2001

good evening everyone

Sandy_123

Evening @durhamjaide2001

Teigr

Evening all.
