Lovely walk out as hearing the lawnmowers and even some birds singing on this beautiful Spring afternoon.
I went to the local shop to stock up on a few magazines to take with me tomorrow to the hospital. I will be staying with a local friend while she is having her cataract removed.
Enjoy your afternoon best you can everyone.

Oh I feel for you @Amberpearl .
3 little stories (not scary) New Years Eve 2019 I saw a mouse peeping out from under my piano. My sister was staying. I said have you just seen what I've seen? She said no. Then she saw it and screamed. Very loud ๐คฃ๐คฃ. Then all my dogs started screeching ๐ . I'd have screamed if it ate my chocolate. I think they're cute but not in my house. Think I had to get the ratman from the council and that got rid.
In 2022 my next door neighbours' step-dad said to me 'there was a rat crawling on top of fence so you've got rats'(the fence between our gardens). I couldn't resist and said oh its my own personal rat is it? Anyway I had to pay to get ratman out and it was in their garage next door ๐
When i was married we suspected a mouse and husband set his video camera up to check overnight. Cannot believe we watched it for SIX hours the next day and it appeared at the end looking in the camera ha ha it was very funny.
I hope you can get rid it's not a very nice feeling. The Council used to charge c 60.00 including a follow up visit.

The pest control man charges 65 pounds and website says require 3 visits
Expensive
I've washed everything blocked off things
I don't know what to do
I have cats so I don't want pest control to use poison or traps
I've never had mice before
Usually ants or moths
What can I do
They ate my crisps and bread and chocolate

I'm sorry @Amberpearl I think I read your previous post that you have cats.
Mine were behind the kitchen cupboards I recall they did place down the toxic stuff behind their but I was still very worried as its anticoagulants I think they used and I was worried if they came out and wee'd could it affect my dogs.
I've just googled it and suggestions are peppermint oil or cayenne pepper and there are apparently pest control companies that use toxic free methods but I don't know what they are and probably much more expensive. It might be worth looking online for those to see what they use but I'm wondering if it's some kind of sonar.
Or mouse traps so no toxins. I just couldn't use them but I couldn't have took the bottom board off, under the kitchen units to look I'd be too scared. But IF you could do that I'd put loads of the essential oil type stuff sprinkled in as apparently they don't like that. I don't know if it kills them or they go outside then. If I was doing something like that, I think I'd have to get a longish thing (like a water pistol type thing) so that I could shoot it in and put the wood back in place quickly.
I know my post was my attempt at humour but I appreciate it's really not funny when you have them so I hope you can get rid of them very soon.
Ps the pest control can put traps down in areas not accessible by your cats I'm sure. Mine put down the toxic stuff behind my fridge freezer too as dogs couldn't get their but I don't know if cats can.

Right We may have the answer @Amberpearl ... I do hope so it's an
Amazon 16.99 an Ultrasonic pest repellant for mice etc. Says its safe to use where there's household pets. You plug it in.
I bought one for spiders and I've not had any spiders in my bungalow since September.

Apparently @Amberpearl it doesn't kill them they run away so you'd have to unblock somewhere for them to be able to get back outside I imagine.

Sorry your feeling this way and I know how your feeling. I'm 20 stone I need to lose 8 stone, for the last month I'm exactly the same as you, it's not worth slipping into that good night, you have people who care about you, don't skip your antidepressants and make that appointment. We're all here for you.
Sorry I haven't reached out sooner.
I've been up A&E most of the day only went up for a blood test but because I was in a rush and having to climb a hill I ended up getting upset having a panic attack, hyperventilating, and was in a bath of sweat by the time I got to the nurse she took my blood and sent me straight to A&E a porter wheeled me all the way there within 5 minutes of being there was asked to get out of the chair as they needed it for someone else the receptionist was a right **** around 1pm bearing in mind I'd only had a banana at 7am wanted to tell her I was going to have a bit to eat, I was almost 2 meters from the lady infront and she was abrupt and said get behind that red line, so I did waited 5 minutes for the lady to go then approached, she stood up turned her back and walked off, I thought screw this I'm going to get a bite to eat, said to the person I was sitting next to if they call my name tell them I've gone to grab a bite to eat, was really upset on the way to get something and on the way back, they told me you was called 5 minutes after you left, so went to the nurses station and explained they sent me back to A&E so told the nurse there 30 minutes later still hadn't been called, so went back to that receptionist and asked if she could let them know, she said do it yourself, I said I have half an hr ago, waited another 10 minutes and thought I'm leaving I've had enough, so told a nurse I'm leaving he followed me got upset again and was hyperventilating again, he said take a seat I'll see what's happening now 10 minutes later your next to be seen just to find our it's what I thought anyway and they had no specialists who could give cortisone injections so I shouldn't have listened to the nurse from labotomy I should asked the porter to take me to the car instead, plus side was in 17% fat burning mode according to my glory fit watch and cardiopulmonary 4% of the time this was by 2:30pm my heart rate went as low as 53 and as high as 131,

Really
Where do I put it

You have to plug them in socket. I think it said you're best getting one for every room but my spider plug ins are just in the living room and bedroom. On Amazon the one I looked at for you came up first in list and it was described as 2025 extremely strong (I think that was the word that was used).
I don't really like plug ins but I like spiders even less ๐ซฃ
