Sorry about your air pods you can buy really cheap ones on temu if you don't mind waiting 2 weeks 🤣 I've bought loads myself all working great and all of them combined cost less than twenty pounds.

Probably by yourself a pair of shorts too but knowing our lovely British weather it'll probably hammer down when arrive.

I bought my mum 3 different hearing aids and she doesn't ware any of then, sure she just likes it when I shout at her😂, me not so much 🤔.

I can understand not recognising yourself myself I feel like who is this humongous person looking back at me, I look at photos from 15 years ago and think how was I ever that thin even though was a size 14 back then only looked a 10 🤣.

Chin up read a book, listen to some enlighten music or watch a funny film tge ones with Adam Sandler in usually cracks me up 🤣

    P. S not sure if I'm doing this right as new on here not sure how to tag.

    Also grumpy1314

Must be hard thinking you might have lost your hearing, do you do any gardening yourself now for yourself? Sometimes it's nice getting out on sunny day can cheer you up.

I was on antidepressants years ago but didn't like the way they made me feel, like I didn't care about anything or anyone now that was fine when it came down to my partner at that time but when I felt the same way when my son hurt himself knew I had to come off them

😂😂😂😂 your mum probably does it to just ignore you, then when you least expect it she will give you a clip around the back of the ear for shouting at her.

I’ve got some memory foam tips on Amazon, going to wait a few weeks before I get them. Need to get some stickers and a sign for the new front door.

Thanks to my ex wife regularly having the bailiffs banging on the door in the past, I don’t like it when people bang on the door! Sets off my anxiety, I’m swearing like a pirate going down the stairs at a snails pace 🚡

Just fired up a playlist on iTunes, it’s gone straight into When a Blind Man Cries by Deep Purple into Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, just looked what’s next, Road To Hell by Chris Rea, Immigrant Song, Ice In The Sun etc

I’ve just been looking at two Lego Sets I’ve got to rebuild and just can’t even sit and build that, which is frustrating to say the least.

I’m going to hold off buying shorts, need to lose a few ton off the belly and then maybe I can get into the new kilt coming up to Winter.

I’m going to save up some money and get some stuff for outside of the flat, get a raised planter with a trellis for the summer and a chair to sit outside. Apparently they have a gardening competition, I’m a bit a ringer having worked for Oldham Council’s Parks & Countryside and started off on the private sector doing large private gardens, nursing homes and a large chemical plant where Man City’s training ground is located.

When my ex wife dumped me, because I couldn’t do the garden due to my health, there was over 3 foot of brambles covering the back garden, she had to sort that mess out, which made me chuckle. 🤭 she threatened me in January 2024, if I didn’t collect my things then she was going to put them into storage and make me pay for it! I’m well rid, I’m staying single until they carry me out of the flat. Two marriages and two relationships is enough for me!

my hearing isn’t to bad thankfully, but it’s always a good idea to keep an eye on the old lugs, I’m sure there picking up signs of alien life!

    Thats a good idea,

I’ve got a few audio books which are a varying variety.
Ellie Griffiths, Kate Atkinson, John D Burns, Alistair Moffat, John Nichol, James Holland, Dalai Lama, Clive Cussler are a few of the Authors I like and follow.

Just a little run around the world by Rosie Swale Pope is a great travel book, is a good book to read - a woman who in the opening bit of the book it states - 5 years 3 packs of wolves and 53 pairs of shoes as she raised over £250,000 for charity.

Tuk Tuk To Toad about two female traveler's who had a custom bright pink Tuk Tuk built in Thailand, then drove it back to Britain all the way up through China and across into Europe.

Lone Ride by Elspeth Beard - the first woman to ride around the world on a Motorbike, including going through Iran from Australia.

Few powerful reads that once you start reading them you can’t put them down.

Good news about outside for you some sun cheer you up sometimes. We sound very similar I've only had 2 long term relationships devorced once, chucked my ex fiancée out around 9 years ago so much happier now he was head work, to controlling ect, he's got his karma now though he's had loads of stokes and doesn't remember half the **** he put me though was even overjoyed he remembered my mother's name 😂 they didn't get on, strange thing was his mother went for me on holiday not long after I first got with him within I'd say 4 months of that she fell down the stairs cracked her head on a glass table (silly place to put that if you ask me) and had a stroke she's wheel chair bound now.

I work Mondays every week, but this week was the start of my new slightly earlier start and finish so it was the stupid-early bus and I was definitely yawning when I arrived :)
But I got to finish at 4.15 and I managed to get the bus so I was home earlier than usual :) The cherry blossom in town is beautiful, can't complain about that…

I am lucky that I have such a nice team to work in :) Our new(ish) manager brought us cake.

    I’m not your Mum 😂😂😂

I’ve got a very dark council worker sense of humour 🤭

I was 19st 6lb when I went into the mental health unit, I did get back down to just under 15st but gone back to 17st which is frustrating the life out of me. Need to cut out all the stuff that affects my Acid/Bile Reflux or else it’s like a scene from the exorcist or I just can’t breathe, doesn’t help having Spastic Cerebral Palsy and my stomach empties slowly, had to have my gallbladder out in 2022.

I’m a lover of music, Neil Diamond, The Carpenters, Beatles, Cream, Luciano Pavarotti, AC/DC, Queen, BB King, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, The Blues Brothers, James Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, The Dubliners, Runrig, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Celtic Music, can’t beat some of the old bagpipes! to name but a few. Don’t mind a few country songs, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, John Denver etc

Why risk your body for King Donald? The lad could learn to be a productive member of society, by volunteering to serve in the Peace Corps.

It hasn't done Senator John Fetterman any harm.

    Wowsers 😳 you’ve had a lucky escape!!

When I married the first ex wife, her brother come up to me and said whatever you do, don’t let my mum get involved in your marriage! Fair to say it was like being married to two people, my first ex rushed me into getting engaged four months after we got together, she was cruel, emotionally abusive, controlling, threatened me with a knife, I walked out after 8 months of marriage, gave it another go twice, then she told me I’d be better off on my terms wm or with someone without kids, tried the last option which lasted one month shy of ten years and four and a bit of those were married, she had a lot of insecurities, she would always hide that she hadn’t been paying the bills, I’d get a what’s app message from the landlady, saying why hasn’t the rent been paid and we owed over £1,500 I’d lose my rag, leading to an argument and the ex going upstairs crying, she would turn around and say naively “I didn’t tell you because you would go off like this” she desperately wanted kids, but although I initially did when we got together, she wasn’t happy and couldn’t forgive me when put a stop to it because I said I’m not having a kid, with my mental health problems as it wouldn’t be fair.

She started to screw with my head towards the end, saying we need more intimacy ( my labido had gone south with the penguins over the last four and a half years) we need to go out more, you need to come to bed more, I would sit on the bed at night with her and the dog until she fell asleep and then be washing her uniform so she could be at work for 8 the next morning, I was giving her morphine for a stomach condition and another medication for a rare migraine condition that gave off symptoms of a stroke! Then in the last few months, she started saying “Oh I’d be screwed if we split up because you own 90% of the stuff in the house” could tell her best friend was in her ear! The night before she dropped the bombshell, she said I need some space, I’m going and staying in a hotel overnight as I need to think! I used to vent on Facebook, she send me message after message saying why couldn’t you let me have one night on my own, I’ve been up all night crying, she then sent me a text saying she wasn’t going to her health appointment and was going to see her friend and then coming home! I spiralled, self harmed, packed two bags, kissed the dog goodbye and admitted myself to hospital! First week on the mental health unit she told her dad, went public, then was sending me messages about oh I’m having to box all your books up as I’m giving the chair to the dog and getting rid of your sofa as I can’t bear to look at it, also saying oh do you want my big suitcase for all of your clothes, then unfriended me and blocked me, saying it hurt to much to see me on Facebook!! All the while I was on suicide watch! I had my revenge though the first week, as I sent a message to the landlady asking to be taken off the tenancy agreement, that me and my ex were not together, and that I was on a mental health unit, first my ex knew about it was the landlady ringing her up! What narked me, but also angered the OT and Staff on the ward is for the last four plus years I’d been asking her to get help for her own mental health, nah I don’t need to speak to anyone, I don’t need to go on meds, I’m happy when your happy etc. She had the gall to put in her Facebook post - Mental Health had claimed another victim in brackets, then below she was walking away for her own mental health! When I told the OT about the demands she had been placing on me, she told me to stop and have a think for a moment and said “Do you think she was doing more damage to your mental health by placing those demands on you” I was like a horse having blinkers removed “ I said Sugar your right” certainly made me see her and our relationship in a different light! When I went to collect my things, I took a small side table with me, the extension cables for Sky and TV Aerial that I had installed and then as I was going out of the door I picked up a Scotty Dog Door Stop and went come on, your coming with me!
