How is your day going?

I see that it's cold and rainy for you all too. The sun has come out here now but I don't think it'll last long. Is everyone keeping warm? I have my fluffy yellow blanket on.

The sun has made an appearance this afternoon but I'm not going out as I need a rest day.
I have put some special deep conditioning treatment on my hair which stays on for up to an hour.
I use it once a month to keep my hair in good soft condition.

That sounds like a lovely relaxing day @luvpink. It's reminded me that I need to take better care of my hair. I have various hair treatments in my cupboard but never think to use them. What do you use?

Was going OK till yet again I got another rejection email from B&Q about half an hour ago.
All because I declared I can't work Thursdays due to my course, funded by the Social… I wouldn't mind but surely there's reasonable adjustments? But of course I've been saying for years that all that reasonable adjustments stuff is a load of bobbins because what's reasonable is open to interpretation at the employer's discretion, which almost never benefits the potential or actual employee.

I'm sorry @SheffieldMan1976. It must be so frustrating to keep getting rejected. Do you know about our Support to Work team who could help you?

To be fair it wasn't an outright rejection, they said they liked my skills and would add me to their talent Pool, but it still feels like yet another in a LONG line of rejections!

Wella fusion products bought from amazon and recommended by my hairdresser.
I find them really good.

Good morning.
I barely slept a wink last night which probably means I will be exhausted today.
Its looking cold, a bit windy and dull here.
I have a man coming to clean my carpets and sofa's this morning and I'm hoping to go to the city later to get a refund on some clothes, and have a mooch around.
I hope you all manage to have a pleasant day.

Have you thought about not declaring stuff like time restrictions until the interview stage? I wouldn't list it in the application unless they specifically ask your availability.

Good morning everyone. Very wet here today.

Hi everyone. I hope you're all doing ok.
It's been odd here today @Bluebell21. Rain earlier, but now the sun's out. Hoping to get a bit of washing out on my dinner break. Hope it cheers up for you soon.
Sorry you didn't have a great sleep @luvpink. Sounds like you've got a productive day lined up. Hopefully the cleaning won't take too long so you can have a good wander round this afternoon ☺️

Unfortunately it is one of those days where it is going to rain all day @Holly_Scope
I hope you managed to get your washing out.
Take care.

We had hail stones earlier, now just rain. It's still only mid May, so plenty time yet for a few decent days.

Just got back from a trip to Mum's (it's her birthday today) and then the Dentist for a filling.
Put my phone on charge as it died while we were at the Dentist.

Happy birthday to your Mum @SheffieldMan1976 🎉 And I hope the dentist went ok. Last time I had a filling, I had a little panic and moved. Nearly ended up with a terrible accident! 🙈

It wasn't that bad actually, they've done a LOT worse to me over the years (I've been going to this particular Dentist for 30 years)

Sun finally come out after hours of rain
But only 9 degrees
Is everyone else fed up of this cold weather

Mines been very up and down today too! Sun came out so got some washing out, low and behold 15 minutes later the skies open! 😐️ Why does this always seem to happen to me at the minute. 😅
Definitely fed up with the weather. Fingers crossed for some sunshine asap!
