Social Care, financial assessment and earnings from an Etsy shop

I'm going to receive care at home, and will have to complete a financial assessment. I know that earnings from paid employment don't count as income for the financial assessment. I'm thinking of opening an Etsy shop selling printables. To my mind I'd be self-employed and so my earnings from my shop shouldn't count either, but I can't find any specific guidance on that. Does anyone know if earnings from selling things you've made is disregarded income for care at home?

All income through employment, including self employed is disregarded. See link and scroll to “income that must be disregarded “ https://www.proceduresonline.com/resources/careact/p_assess_fin_res.htmlI would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
