Hi so I've been waiting for my pip appeal to go ahead since July 2022. I tried making it a telephone hearing but they changed it back to paper for some reason I did ask why and they wasn't to sure either, I recently emailed asking to see if hearing has been made and they replied
"Good morning,
"Good morning,
Thank you for your email.
As your appeal is to be heard "on the papers" no official date will be set as paper appeal hearings are conducted as and when the Judges have time between Face to Face, Video and Telephone hearings.
We will write to you immediately once a decision has been made.
So my decision could be anytime soon or could it take longer

Yes, they never give dates for paper hearings. I would contact them again and ask for a telephone hearing. Paper based hearings have a very low success rate as you know. It makes no sense that they changed it back to a paper based hearing when you asked for a telephone one.

@poppy123456 yeah I was confused thar they changed it aswell. There's no point in asking as they might change it back again, it could be due to the fact I have lots of evidence and a phone call would take to long taking into account I have anxiety and I get frustrated being on phone to long0
