Thanks for your good wishes everyone 👍☺️

I am all packed and waiting for my friend to get here so we can pack up her car.

I had some very vivid dreams about things going wrong last night but am feeling really excited in a good way this morning. And hopefully I will remember everything I need to ask the agent.

Thanks again for being there 😃

We're in and it's wonderful but I am totally shattered!!

I haven't eaten anything all day. Too excited!! And now too tired to get anything. But I have to get myself up off the air mattress I am lying on soon as we have a Tesco delivery between 9 and 10. I will eat something after that I expect.

We just moved boxes and bags today so there is nothing to sit on except 2 stools I had delivered today and we are both sleeping on the floor for now.

But we have a home!! Yay!!

So pleased for you, glad the ordeal is over for you and you can start a new chapter in your new home. Hope your delivery comes soon so you manage to eat, but glad you are getting settled in. It will feel weird at first especially when you wake up in the morning you will wonder where you are haha

It is lovely waking up in my own space:)

Even though I can barely move!! I had to crawl into the bathroom in order to stand up and even then it took ages. The air mattress is comfortable enough but my days of being able to sleep on the floor are behind me. I must order a bedframe today. We have mattresses arriving tomorrow so that'll get me off the floor.

There is no way I can move anything else today. I am going to have to rest for a few days. I really overdid it yesterday and nearly collapsed while I was cooking us both egg sandwiches after Tesco had been. I felt really sick and dizzy and had to leave it to my son to finish off and bring it up to me. I barely made it up the stairs, I had to crawl which is becoming a bit of a thing! It took me ages to feel well enough to eat. So I must rest. No choice actually as my legs are refusing to lift. I am itching to clean up the kitchen and decide where to put everything but it's going to have to wait.

Hopefully I will be up to doing more by Friday and I have been offered an extra two cars to transport stuff so hopefully that will get a fair bit over here. The volunteers from the sanctuary are really rallying around to help.

My son is really happy too. It is so nice to see because he has been through an awful lot and has been in a dark place for a long time.

There is a cherry tree in the garden which looks about to blossom and one in front of the house which already is. A viburnum is the only other thing besides the tree and grass and dandelions in the garden and it is flowering to and smells gorgeous. The rabbits will be delighted with the dandelions:) And the grass.

It is so peaceful here, I am finally away from the constant roaring of traffic and I love it. It was also really dark last night and I may even be able to see stars when it isn't cloudy.

It's odd the way hurting so much just doesn't matter as much when you are happy!!

Morning @bookrabbit I am absolutely over the moon for you both. I was grinning like a loon knowing you'd be settling in last night.  I'm extra happy to hear you've got a lovely cherry tree too! <3

I got two of my rabbits in in time for Easter and will hopefully have the others soon.

Our mattresses arrived but I haven't got a bedframe yet and we are still waiting for the fridge but we are settled in and with the rabbits here it really is starting to feel like home.
It is so good to be able to cook and I am enjoying arranging everything.

I was exhausted today and slept nearly all day and am ready to sleep again as we moved another two car loads of stuff yesterday and the week caught up with me.

So pleased for you to have your rabbits and are getting settled into your new home. You have been through such a stressful time, but its worth it when you have everything in place and are fully settled. Hope you had a nice easter weekend, take care.
