First payment will potentially be either Jan or Feb. The exact date will depend on what date you usually receive your money each month.

You must also have provided fit notes the whole time without any gaps until a decision was made on the WCA.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

In the first screenshot, it says you provided the fit note on 2nd January 2024 and the date on the fit note was 5th September.

You said you reported your first fit note on 5th September but that was the date on the fit note itself.  When starting your waiting period they don't usually allow backdated fit notes, they will go from the actual date you reported that fit note.

I'm very surprised they referred you for a work capability assessment without providing a fit note first.

It will be down to a decision maker to decide when the extra money is paid from.

I think was done like that as I was a single claim  and went in joint claim in end of December so had to upload them on to new claim   the September one was first added to my single claim

Did you take screenshots before your claim became a joint one? When a claim goes from single to joint or vice versa, you lose all the information in your journal. The reason why I'm asking is because they could say that you didn't provide the fit note on 5th September. I've seen this happen many times.

What date do you usually receive your money? You didn't answer that question.

That means your waiting period will be Oct/Nov, Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 2nd Jan to 1st Feb and first payment will be 8th Feb. This means up to now they owe you 1 months LCWRA element.

My advice is assuming you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.

That will be because they have no record of you reporting the fit note back in September. All your journal entries have gone when you made a joint claim with your partner.

Poppy, UC retains details of any previous UC claims and journals. They are provided in Right of Access Requests (somewhat redacted in mine) and a work coach can see them on the system too.
