This is so sad @Agnia
I wanted to pop a message here. If anyone ever feels so low, they think about hurting themselves, please call 999 or make your way to A&E.
If you are feeling low and need someone to talk to, there are many organisations out there who will listen without judgement. Like Samaritans, SHOUT, CALM and Mind.
Also, this community is here to support any way we canHannah - She / Her

Thank you Mallee , i really agree with you ,
-
That's such a sad story @Agnia, but thank you for sharing. And as Mallee said, it's awful that it won't be an isolated case. We're here if anyone needs to chat things throughRosie (she/her)

I don't think there is any need to keep posting these links!

@Agnia
Oh this is tragic and unfortunately not isolated. 🥲 -

Hi Hannah, thank you very much, i have replied to you , kind regards.

Hi Hannah, this is very important subject that the benefits system can worsen symptoms of mental illness, i studied sociology
i know how affected my health and still does affect me -
That sounds really interesting, Sociology. Why did you choose to study that?
I think it is important to discuss. I sometimes feel anger that people talk to workers in the benefit system, to their MP or seek advice from an advocacy or benefits support group. Yet, it takes someone's sad circumstances being posted all over the papers for discussion to move forward into action.Hannah - She / Her

Agnia, the DWP knows about the risks to our mental health and this has been going on since the first national reassessment programme 2011 to 2014. They know how many suicides there have been as a result of their actions, errors and delays. They know and we know of hundreds.
-
DWP took responsibility for 390 suicides during the first reassessment programme but there were many more.
Then the rules were changed in 2016 when nobody was paying attention.
I don't think many people understand the impact of those changes even now or how they were mislead about WRAG and the Support Group.
What matters is that you are in the SG and safe.

they were mislead correction *misled*
