Hello
I applied in December for PIP.
Second week of February I received messaging stating that a health professional is looking at my claim.
Today I got a phone call from the doctor (I had a review app for my mental health) and she mentioned PIP got in touch with my gp and the gp has sent all the information on the 16th. Does anyone know what's going to happen next? I am dreading the assessment. Just feeling anxious.
Really looking forward to hearing back from someone from here X

Most people have assessments, which are mostly by telephone, some are face to face or video. Paper based assessments do happen but they are rare. If there’s enough of information to complete the report without an assessment they will.My advice is to expect an assessment and if one isn’t needed then it’s a bonus.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
