Pip - ADP -road tax query

Hi folks,my pip is away for renewal,and because I'm in Scotland I'm moving to adp,which hopefully goes ok . My main question is,I didn't need to pay road tax on last award,but now my road tax will be due for renewal probably before I hear back from adp. What is the normal practice here,as in will I renew before I know what I'm awarded,I've already got my blue badge sorted for another 3 year,even though I haven't got concrete award details yet ,hope someone can shed some light on this

If you have an award in place that qualifies you for either 50% or 100% reduction then yes you can claim. If you don't have an award in place then you will need to wait until a decision is made and you'll need to pay the road tax yourself.0
