Hi All, I'm waiting for my PIP decision so I jump every time the phone rings. Does anyone know if the Decision Maker would ever call from a mobile number, or has anyone had this happen? I'm assuming it'll be an 0800 number if it's the DWP?

The decision will be in writing, if its a new claim the payment may arrive in your bank before you get the letter if you have been given an award2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

They will only ring if they have any questions to ask before making a decision but I wouldn't expect them to ring because it's rare.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

They rang this morning to say I will be getting an award and to check if I was OK with receiving a large back payment into my account. They said the award will be made today and I will get the letter next week. It was an 0800 number.
Thanks to everyone for your support over the period I've been claiming. I know I can be difficult to talk to at times due to the autism, so I appreciate the support.
