Hi I need some advice. I have had anxiety for many years but recently I have gotten worse and now have agoraphobia. As a result I am unable to go out alone. For the past 3 months I have been working from home, however the company do not want this to carry on and said they need someone in the office so I will either have to leave or go on sickness benefit. As I have worked there a while can they do this? Obviously I am finding it quite stressful and I want to continue to work.

Hi @Alex987654321, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with work, it's understandable that you're feeling stressed out by it. If your work are aware of your conditions, it's possible that working from home could come under a reasonable adjustment. Scope has some information on that here if you'd like to read through it.
Have you had any contact with ACAS? They might be able to advise you on your rights and clear things up for you.

Hi Rosie. Thank you for the information. I will try ACAS. The work I do can be done from home so hopefully they can advise me further.0
