am another managed migration
person whose UC has not covered Tax credits so there is big reduction
in payment. JC say its a mistake but havent corrected it .They advise
making Uc claim for the disabled adult and ask for ESA so he/she can
attend College as usual. Tax credit eligibility would end this summer
anyway but we will have lost 5 months TC .Any advice welcome. thanks0

For some very odd reason UC are not calculating the Transitional protection until after the first payment for a lot of people.
You mention a disabled adult, is this your son or daughter? How old are they please?

Students and UC are not a great match so it will be unlikely that they could claim UC as a full time student. Why have you been underpaid UC? Have you put a message onto your journal under the payment section to ask?If this is a recent claim for UC then they usually calculate your Transitional Protection after your first payment.0
