It will be good to chat with you, some days, to share good and bad times!
I wondered if anyone could advise me, please. I've let my Blue Badge run out and badly need it but can't find my latest PIP letter, as the evidence of my needs. Does anyone know how I can get a copy, ASAP.
My husband was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's and isn't allowed to drive now. This has made him frustrated and angry with me. This puts a lot of pressure on me and I make mistakes when parking etc. That's when the sarcastic remarks start, "huh, I'm not allowed to drive and I'm much better than you"! Then, I end up doing more daft things or we have a row and I head straight for home. This puts me off any future trips out and we are practically house-bound. I need to get my Blue Badge back so that I can escape on my own from time to time before I lose my confidence too.
Sorry if that was a lot of unnecessary info guys! I think I'm grieving for so many reasons at the moment and don't really have an outlet. I'm not going to get started about our beautiful dog that we lost to cancer recently. Will keep that for another time and space.
Sending gentle hugs to all. From Jules x

Hi @Craftynana910, welcome to the community. So sorry to hear things are difficult for you at the moment. Sorry about your lovely dog too, it's so hard to lose a beloved pet
If you contact the PIP enquiries line, they might be able to send out a copy of your award so you can get your Blue Badge sorted. The number is 0800 121 4433
I hope you're able to get things sorted soon and get out and about a bit more. We have lots of lovely members on the community, so if you ever need to chat things through there's always support available. Lots of members use the "How's your day going" discussion to chat and support each other if you'd like to get involved. I'm sure they'd love to welcome you inRosie (she/her)
