Good morning
Can anyone tell me if you have to wait for a letter with the mandatory reconsideration decision or can they tell you over the phone?
Many thanks

They can tell you over the phone.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thank you Poppy, I thought they could but the guy I spoke to said they couldn't tell me anything, I would just have to wait for the letter.

If the decision has only just been made it takes up to 24 hours for them to be able to see what that decision is on the system. They will only know that a decision is made and a letter is on its way to you.
