LCWRA Advice

Hi,
I am requesting some advise on what to do in regards to me still not getting my payments.
I initially provided evidence in October 2023. I was told I would get back dated payments in 3 months time. Come January and I haven’t received a payment. I do not chase and wait thinking maybe I’ll get it at the end of the month. February comes and goes and I still haven’t received any payments. It is now mid March.
I have tried to call multiple times and every time I do they say to me they’ll get my case worker to either message me on journals or to call me. I have not not received any call or messages at all and have no way if directly contacting my case worker on what to do.
Can someone please give some advice on what to do or even who I can reach out to get some answers?
thanks

Can you provide few details about your situation, to help members offer you some advice.
Are you on LCWRA? Have you applied and had an assessment? If so, when did you get an award?

More information is needed before any advice can be given.
If you’ve been found to have LCWRA what date exactly did you provide your first fit note? What date do you usually receive your money each month?
Were there any gaps in your fit notes?0 -
Hi
I first gave my sick note 26th October. The assessment date was 15th December and the outcome was decided on 22nd December. There are no gaps on my sick note as it states indefinitely.I usually get my UC payment on the 8th of every month.
Please let me know if you want to know anything else.
thank you0 -
The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods and it's then paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note, with first payment being the end of that month. LCWRA element is not paid at all during this period.
Your waiting period will be Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 2nd Feb to 1st March and first payment should have been 8th March. Did you receive the LCWRA element n this months payment?
Please note my advice assumes you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element on your claim.0 -
Hi
I did not receive anything extra in this months payment and my partner does not any LCWRA.
Thats why I called up and requested an update. Every time I call I am told I will get an update from my case worker and that he will either call me or leave me a message on Journals. But I have still not received either a call or a message.0 -
Then you will be owed 1 months LCWRA element for this month. Put a message onto your journal under the payment section and tell them you didn't receive this element this month when you should have.0
